Intentional Creation Of Curses

I'll randomly think about the intentional creation of curses every once in a while, and on March 24th, 2026, I thought about how anybody who's familiar with manipulating cursed energy and conjuring should be able to create a low level curse with ease.

I gave it a shot, and was very easily able to make a very weak curse. It makes a lot of sense that I'd be able to since I so regularly absorb cursed energy and mess with curses, as well as conjure things nearly every single day. I was a bit surprised by how well it formed, but I've done enough with curses by now I better have a decent enough understanding of their structure to make a properly formed curse.

In all of this I thought about how there are probably sorcerers who make curses intentionally, and I thought about how if there are rules, it's probably against those rules to make curses. But since I'm unaware of any organizations that would handle anything like this, I can't check if such a rule does exist.

Also makes me wonder if I happen to be breaking any rules with anything else I do. I don't let the curses free, apart from one time but I do feel bad about that one, even if it probably didn't do anything. Also, I did make a curse a long time ago, but it was poorly formed and weak.

Anyway, a little after that when I was getting some water, I noticed a jar made a noise in our water room. Seemed to me like an indication of a curse being there, but I was doing something else so I ignored it for the moment.

A bit later I came back from something else, and I decided to walk straight into the room and face whatever I found. What I happened to find was a pretty strong curse. Its form changed as it approached me, and it brought me a fear I haven't felt in a long time. Of course, realizing it could scare me like that just excited me a lot, and I started trying to capture it.

It was able to resist me nearly fully at first, which was rather impressive. To counteract its strong resistance to what I was doing, I pushed my domain out to fill the room, and I focused all of my thoughts and will on controlling the curse. I also started pushing all of my excitement into energy to strengthen what I was doing.

All of this together allowed me to force the curse into a ball, though it took some effort to get the whole body to cooperate. It also left a lot of cursed energy there in the form of its body, so that had to be forced in too.

I compressed it as much as I could, and the ball it formed was a little smaller than a basketball. For reference, the standard rural curse when not fully compressed is two to three inches around for me.

I then took the curse and put it into a portal so I could preserve the energy better. I intend to eat this curse just as I have with the rest, but I sense that it had intended for that so I'm still thinking about how exactly I wanna go about it.

A whole curse better preserves the energy and might give me a better chance at absorbing any techniques it might have, but that means the curse, if strong enough, could cause me some problems once inside.

If I instead kill it and scramble the core, it's much less likely to be able to cause me harm, but that eliminates the chance of me absorbing its techniques and means the energy won't be as good.

I think what I'll try, even if less ideal, is strengthening and training my domain, as well as my digestive tract, so I can eat the curse whole. It's more fun, and easier to eat a curse whole.

Oh, and I should mention why this is included. Since there seems to be things training me, I thought that maybe this could be from whatever is. No curse from this area would willingly confront me when they know the end result is death, so it must have come from elsewhere. The thing about eating it could possibly play a part, idk.

Also, I should maybe also detail my curse to ball process, but if anybody has watched season two of Jujutsu Kaisen, they can probably figure it out.
